Handmade soda-fired and wood-fired teapots, thrown and finished in Ezh Clay's Oakland studio. The collection moves between Japanese forms—from bamboo-handled dobin and side-handled kyusu to more sculptural pouring vessels—each shaped as much by the atmosphere of the kiln as by the hand. Soda vapor, wood ash, and flame leave unrepeatable surfaces that embody the quiet beauty of wabi-sabi.
