Handmade cups from Ezh Clay, crafted in Oakland for everyday rituals—from yunomi, the traditional Japanese cups for daily tea, and guinomi, intimate vessels enjoyed for ceremonial tea or sake, to espresso cups, sippers, and tea bowls (chawan), including matcha chawan for whisked tea. Many are thrown from coarse Shigaraki clay, whose textured surface is transformed by soda vapor and flame, leaving each piece with its own distinctive character. Some embrace clean mid-century modern lines; all are one of a kind, shaped by both the hand and the kiln.
