Hand-painted, soda-fired bowls created in Ezh Clay's studio. Each one is brushed and glazed individually—oribe greens, shino, layered slips—then opened to the atmosphere of the kiln, so the surface is never quite repeatable. The forms draw on Japanese ceramics and the quiet beauty of wabi-sabi, from everyday bowls to tea bowls (chawan).
